Can I cook half a bag of Jack and the Bean Soup at a time?

Is it best to cook the entire bag at one time. It will come out as intended and you can freeze any leftovers for a later meal!

If you absolutely need to cook half, you can use half the beans, and 4-5 cups of water. The spice packet should be mixed well and then use about 2 heaping tablespoons.
